A private person in France, Nicolas Abboud, has donated 15 000 € to Inerventions to partly finance a pilot study of Mollii and 8 children with Cerebral Palsy at the hospital St Maurice in Paris. The study is expected to start during the fourth quarter 2016.
We at Inerventions are very happy and grateful for this donation that will make it possible to evaluate Mollii at the most renowned hospital for children with CP in Paris and at the same time contribute to strenghten the evidence for Mollii.
Nicolas Abboud has a daughter of 8 years that has been using Mollii for 6 months. Now Nicolas wants other children to get the same opportunity. Here are his own words:
“At last a solution that brings tangible results, after having tried so many things! My 8 year old daughter, Léa, has been using the Mollii Suite for about 6 months now, and has experienced tangible improvements in supleness, freedom of movements, muscle and strength development, as well as balance. The improvements have been measured and recorded by the Hôpital Saint Maurice in Paris, by taking analytical measures and undertaking a walk-analysis in January 2015 and July 2016. This raised the interest of the hospital in the Molli Suite! My wife and I felt it was our duty to contribute and help to speed-up its deployment, and allow other children suffering from ceberal palsy to benefit from it. With the encouragement of our daughter, and the support of the Inerventions team, we decided to sponsor a pilot project for the hospital, and allow 8 children to participate in this pilot”
